Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates in engineering for the role of Software Quality Engineer, QA engineer who will work with developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Business Analysts to help to ensure high quality and timely delivery on product implementations of varying sizes and complexities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education-

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering
Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills
0-2 years QA experience in a commercial software development environment
Experience in testing web applications & mobile applications
Coding knowledge/experience is a must have

Desired Skills:

Highly enthusiastic person with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Team Player, a large part of the job requires coordinating with other team members
Experience with tools such as Selenium, QTP, Jmeter, Loadrunner, Jira, Trello, Jenkins

Roles &Responsibilities:

Assist in scoping, planning and scheduling QA activities for web and mobile applications
Work closely with the product owner and the BA to develop testing strategies and plans
Execute the manual test plan for each of the features and user stories
Write and track defect reports as problems are found and corrected
Utilize various testing tools as appropriate, in order to automate the execution of test cases
Own and maintain the automated test suite
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
Follow best practices in software quality and internal processes for ensuring quality and high standards
Coordinate and communicate with the scrum team to ensure impediments are highlighted and risks mitigated
